Getting started

Meetor shows what a meeting costs while it is happening. You add the people in the room, and a meter counts up from their rates. When the meeting ends you get a receipt.

  1. Open the Meetor app. It works in any modern browser and can be installed as an app.
  2. Tap Start.
  3. Add the people in the meeting. For each new person, enter a first name, a role, and either an annual salary or an hourly rate. They are saved to your roster for next time.
  4. The meter starts. Title, topic, and planned length are optional. You can add them during or after the meeting.
  5. Tap End meeting when you are done. The receipt appears.

You do not need an account for the first meeting. It runs in guest mode and everything stays on your device.

To start a second meeting or share a receipt link, sign in with your email address.

  • Meetor sends a 6-digit code to your inbox. There is no password.
  • The code is valid for 10 minutes.
  • Your guest meeting and roster move into your account on this device.

Meetor uses codes instead of links because a link opens your browser, not the installed app.

After you sign in, Meetor asks once for:

  • Currency. All money in the workspace uses it. There is no currency conversion.
  • How salaries become hourly costs. The defaults are 2,080 working hours a year and a load multiplier of 1.3. See People and rates.
  • Install. Installing the app keeps it one tap away and lets it work offline.

You can change these later in Settings.
