Authentication
The public API uses bearer tokens. Tokens are available on Pro.
Create a token
Section titled “Create a token”- Open Settings, Tokens in the app.
- Choose the workspace and give the token a name, for example “Finance sheet”.
- Copy the token. It starts with
mt_live_.
Meetor stores only a hash of the token, so it can show you the full token once. If you lose it, revoke it and create a new one.
Send the token
Section titled “Send the token”Put the token in the Authorization header of every request:
GET /v1/public/meetings HTTP/1.1Authorization: Bearer mt_live_...With curl:
curl https://api.meetor.co/v1/public/meetings \ -H "Authorization: Bearer $MEETOR_TOKEN"- Read only. A token can read meetings and reports. It cannot create, change, or delete anything.
- One workspace. A token sees only the workspace it was created for.
- No rates. Responses contain totals, never an individual’s salary or rate.
Keep tokens safe
Section titled “Keep tokens safe”- Store tokens in environment variables or a secret manager, not in source code.
- Use one token per tool, so you can revoke one without breaking the others.
- Settings shows when each token was last used.
Revoke a token
Section titled “Revoke a token”Open Settings, Tokens and choose Revoke. Requests with that token fail with status 401 from then on.
If your subscription ends, tokens stop working. They work again if you resubscribe.
Errors
Section titled “Errors”A missing, unknown, or revoked token returns 401:
{ "error": { "code": "unauthorized", "message": "Missing or invalid API token." } }A valid token for a workspace that is no longer on Pro returns 403.
