Device backup and export

Device backup (free and Pro)

Free data lives only on one device. A backup file protects it.

1. Open Settings, Data.
2. Tap Download backup.
3. Meetor saves a file named like meetor-backup-2026-09-28.json.

The file holds your workspace, people, topics, meetings, and templates. It includes a format version and a checksum.

After your fifth meeting on the free plan, Meetor shows a one-time card suggesting a backup.

Keep the file somewhere safe. It contains names and rates.

Restore

1. Open Settings, Data on the same or another device.
2. Tap Restore and choose a backup file.
3. Meetor checks the file and merges it by record ID. Records already on the device are kept, and the newer version of each record wins.

A damaged or edited file fails the checksum and is not imported.

Export (Pro)

Pro can export a workspace as:

• CSV, a zip with one file per table, for spreadsheets.
• JSON, one file, for scripts.

Open Settings, Data, Export.

For regular automated reads, use the read-only API instead.

Pro sync

Pro keeps your devices in sync, so a backup is optional there. It is still available. See Privacy and security for how synced data is encrypted.
